Product Description
The Extruder High-Torque Screw for Engineering Plastics is manufactured from 38CrMoAlA, 31CrMoV9 or 42CrMo steel, heat-treated to achieve core hardness HRC 38–42 and surface nitriding HV 850–1000 (depth 0.5–0.8 mm). The screw root diameter is increased to provide higher torque capacity without deflection. Available for screw diameters Φ15–Φ500 mm and L/D ratios 15–30. We offer custom compression ratios, flight depths, and mixing sections. Chrome plating (0.03–0.05 mm) optional for corrosive engineering plastics.
