Versatile processing options

Continuous melting
By melting the plastic material in the extruder screw, other solids such as wood, paper, sand, etc. can be effectively removed in a subsequent filtration process. This improves the quality of the end products.
Main Parts of Extruder Screw
Feed Zone
Function: Picks up raw plastic from the hopper and begins transporting it forward
Design: Deep channel depth to accommodate solid material
Key Point: Proper feed zone geometry ensures stable output and prevents bridging
Compression Zone (Transition Zone)
Function: Applies heat and pressure to melt the material
Design: Gradual reduction in channel depth to compress the plastic
Note: This zone is critical for melting and mixing performance
Metering Zone
Function: Homogenizes the melt and builds pressure before it enters the die
Design: Uniform channel depth, high shear
Importance: Determines final product consistency and throughput

Single-Screw
The most common type, featuring one helical screw for processing.
Twin-Screw
Consists of two parallel screws that can be either co-rotating or counter-rotating, providing better mixing and kneading.
Conical Screw
Characterized by a cone-shaped design, allowing for gradual compression of materials.
Stepper Screw

Barrier Screw
