Extruder Barrel

Our high-performance extruder barrels are paired with precision-machined screws, which are made of premium 38CrMoALA or 1.8550 forged materials. The screws undergo quenching and tempering to reach a hardness of HV290–320, followed by plasma surfacing of nickel-based alloy on the surface to ensure an alloy layer thickness of ≥1.7 mm and hardness of ≥HRC58. After precision machining, the entire screw is treated with integral nitriding, achieving a nitriding depth of 0.5–0.7 mm, surface hardness of HV860–980, and a metallographic structure grade of ≥Level 2.

The combination of high-grade forged materials and multi-step heat treatment processes ensures the extruder barrel and matching screw have outstanding wear resistance and structural stability, significantly prolonging the service life of the whole equipment.

We offer two barrel configurations, including a replaceable inner alloy liner option that allows the barrel shell to be reused, effectively reducing long-term operation and maintenance costs.

The barrel-screw system is specially optimized for high-demand extrusion scenarios, with excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature stability to cope with harsh processing conditions.
