There are two core points to note when installing the screw and barrel. First, the threaded portion of the plastic screw must be thoroughly cleaned before installation, and heat-resistant grease such as red lead or molybdenum disulfide must be applied to ensure smooth operation. This step is crucial to ensure smooth operation.
Lifting and Alignment
Second, when lifting the screw and barrel, carefully align the screw keyway with the injection unit drive shaft. If the screw is difficult to insert into the drive shaft, do not force it in. Instead, gradually insert the screw by rotating it or the drive shaft. This requires extra care during operation to avoid damaging the equipment.
Common Screw Materials
Common screw materials used in my country include 45# steel, 40Cr, nitrided steel, and 38CrMOAl, etc. These materials all have good heat resistance and mechanical properties, meeting the needs of different applications. The selection of commonly used materials is to provide good performance under different conditions.
