Bimetallic Screw

Bimetallic Screw is a core transmission component used in conjunction with bimetallic barrels, manufactured by composite technology of integral forged base material and wear-resistant alloy. The working surface of the screw thread is coated with a 1.5-3.0mm thick high-hardness wear-resistant alloy (such as cobalt-based Stellite, tungsten carbide nickel-based alloy) through plasma spray welding, laser cladding or powder metallurgy technology, while the base material adopts high-toughness steel like 40CrNiMoA to ensure torsional strength. Specifically designed for high-wear and high-corrosion processing scenarios, the product is suitable for processing materials such as glass fiber-reinforced plastics, PVC, fluoroplastics, and high-temperature engineering plastics (LCP, PPS). Covering a full range of specifications with diameters from Φ15mm to 500mm and length-diameter ratios (L/D) of 10-40, it can be precisely matched with various equipment such as injection molding machines, extruders, and granulators, serving as a key core component to ensure material conveying, plasticization, and mixing efficiency.
