Conical Twin Screw Barrel

This conical twin-screw barrel is a core component specifically developed for plastic extrusion molding processes, widely adaptable to various scenarios such as PVC granulation, pipe extrusion, profile production, and sheet processing. The product uses high-quality 38CrMoAlA base material, with the screw edges reinforced using a dual-alloy spray welding process. The barrel inlet area can be made of high-quality alloy steel to ensure stable operation under high load and high wear conditions. Core specifications cover the entire range from Ф35/Ф75 to Ф135/Ф270, and the compression ratio can be precisely customized according to different raw material characteristics. It can adapt to diverse processing needs, from conventional PVC powder to materials with high calcium content. Combined with a precise temperature control system, it achieves efficient plasticization and uniform extrusion of materials.

1. Precision Manufacturing Process: Finished by CNC machining center, the screw straightness can reach 0.015mm, and the surface roughness is as low as Ra0.4μm, ensuring precise matching between screw and barrel, reducing material leakage and energy loss.
2. Excellent Material Performance: After nitriding treatment of the base material, the nitrided layer depth is 0.5-0.8mm, the nitrided hardness is 950-1020HV, and the brittleness is ≤ Grade 1; the hardness of the bimetallic layer can reach HRC55-62, and the depth is ＞2mm, with super wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
3. Scientific Structural Design: The feeding section has a large diameter and deep screw groove, with strong conveying capacity and pressure-bearing capacity; the metering section has a small diameter, which is conducive to low-temperature extrusion and suitable for plastic raw materials with a wide processing temperature range. The separate design of the twin-screw end facilitates the installation of large bearings and can withstand greater torque.
